We do have an alternative setup program designed for x64 systems or any that experience problems. It uses a newer install program so its a little bigger than our standard setup program but it might be more compatible with your system. It can be downloaded at

Task Catcher will keep an eye on important tasks you always want running on your system. Your feline friend won't allow Spyware to shutdown your protection.

Let Task Catcher know which programs you depend on and it will make sure that your program is always running. If Task Catcher doesn't see your Watched program, it will automatically restart it for you.

Sometimes there are programs you never want started on your system. Programs added to your Black List will automatically be shut down when detected by Task Catcher.

Kids using your computer?
Black Lists are unique and may be set up on a per user basis. Task Catcher will allow let you create a Black List of programs you want to make sure the kids can never run.

At any instance in time, your computer is running a number of programs or "Active Tasks". Some tasks are very important while others can just slow you down. Many are a part of the Windows operating system and important to its operation. Others may be programs you want running at their peak performance. Still others may be programs which may sneak on to your computer against your will. Task Catcher will allow you to see what tasks are running and help you control them.
